Travel Guide to NYC and Back
Public transportation:
Heading there:
- Walk across street to Bus Stop - Old River Road or Church Hill Road
- Board any bus that says ‘New York’ on banner screen - Buses 156, 159, 165, 188
- Be sure to wave at bus otherwise driver will keep driving
- Bus Fare: $3.50 per person
- Trip Time: 30 - 40 minutes
- Bus will drop you off at 42nd Port Authority in Times Square NYC - you can travel via Uber / taxi / preferred method depending on your final destination
Coming back to the Hotel:
- If traveling by bus, only board the 158 FORT LEE Bus
- If you come back before 10 PM, the bus will be at Gate 202 - Second floor
- If you come back past 10 PM, the bus will be at Gate 301 - Third floor
- Purchase ‘Zone 2’ ticket prior to boarding
- Depart at the Bulls Ferry/River Road stop
- Cross street and back to Hotel

NYWATERWAY is the way to go!
- Take NJ Transit bus 128, 156, 158, 159, 165, 166 or 188 to Port Imperial/NY, located just under 2 miles away
- Ferry departs every 20 mins to Manhattan/Midtown W. 39TH ST
- Runs from 6:00 am to 10:40 pm on Mondays
- Runs from 6:00 am to 11:40 pm on Tuesday - Thursday’s
- Runs from 6:00 am to 12:40 am on Fridays
- Runs from 8:00 am to 12:40 am on Saturdays and Sundays
- Bus Fares: $1.60 per adult, $0.75 per child/senior
- Ferry: $9.50 per adult, $6.50 per child (6- 11 yrs), $8.75 per senior (62+ yrs)
- Included with your ferry ticket is a bus ticket to either: W 34th Street, W 42nd Street, or W 44th Street, W 50th Street, W 57th Street
